Taking place at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel & Spa, Daytime TPi offers a packed schedule of content prior to the evening’s festivities.
Following the annual PSA Conference, TPi’s Justin Gawne and Stew Hume take to the stage to present the findings of the recent Business Leaders Survey, sponsored by AVIXA.
Conducted in collaboration with Mondiale’s sister company, CGA – a market leader in business and consumer market research – the survey aims to identify the most important issues in the industry today. The questionnaire covers such topics as staff engagement, business investment decisions, trends for 2020 and potential risks to the market.
New for this year, the research also reaches out to active crew members to get their take on some of the industry’s emerging trends. Although this research is still in its burgeoning stages, the aim is to continue these surveys so we can obtain a general consensus of the market’s emerging trends in order to help us continue to tell relevant stories from the touring world.
Also taking place this year is an open discussion about the environmental impact of live touring. This is a hot topic both within the industry and in the wider media spectrum, and TPi is keen to shed some light on the efforts being made by many in the industry.
CHAUVET Professional and ChamSys are also in attendance, with a private showroom to display some of the latest products for the events market. These include the Maverick range featuring the MK3 Profile, MK3 Wash, Storm 1 Spot and Storm 1 Wash. Also on display are the Rogue R2X Wash and R1 Beam Wash, along with the Epix Strips and Flex, as well as the Strike family of IP-rated products, including Strike 1, Strike P38 and Strike Saber. The F6 Strip IP and Ovation Cyc 1 FC will be making their first European appearances, while the company will also be displaying some products that are still under NDA prior to their release at Prolight+Sound later this year.
The ChamSys team is also on hand showing its new MagicQ MQ70 and MagicQ MQ500 console, as well as the versatile ChamSys QQ20.
